If indeed, the receptive focus of the performance becomes, above and beyond the pure sensuous experience of the music itself, intimately tied to the mere presence of the performer/composer (since, with the laptop, when the performative actions are illegible, no other reception seems possible), then is not the function of the composer as performer redundant?" Are you sure about the 'not today'?
